Revelation 8:6-13 Part 1

All right, if you have your Bibles, pull those out and turn with me to the Book of Revelation chapter number eight, we’re going to start reading in verse number six and we’re going to go through to verse number 13 today, revelation chapter eight verses six through 13. And we are in the middle of a series called Omega. It is a study on the Book of Revelation in the end times, and today we are entering into a particular portion of text talking about the first set of what’s called the Trumpet Judgments Revelation Chapter eight, six to 13, I’m going to ask one more time if you please rise and stand in honor of God’s word for our initial and primary reading of it today. Now, the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them, the first angel blew his trumpet and there, followed hell and fire mixed with blood. And these were thrown upon the Earth and a third of the Earth was burned up. And a third of the trees were burned up. In all, green grass was burned up. The same second, angel blew his trumpet in something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died and a third of the ships were destroyed. The third angel blew his trumpet and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star’s wormwood. A third of the waters became warm wood and many people died from the water because it had been made bitter. The fourth angel blew his trumpet and a third of the sun was struck and a third of the moon and a third of the stars so that a third of their lights might be darkened. And a third of the day might be kept from shining. Likewise, a third of the night. And then I looked and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead. Woe, woe, woe. To those who dwell on the Earth at the blast of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow, you may be seated. The time has come. Time has come for the next set of judgments. These are called theological circles as the trumpet judgments. The seven trumpet judgments are contained inside of the final seal judgment, which we covered in Revelation Chapter six as Jesus as undoing the seals on the scroll. ASEAN does, as he un does the seventh seal inside the seven seal as a surprise. There are seven further judgments called the trumpet judgments. As we studied in Revelation eight one through five, God combines the prayers of the Saints, which are in the appearance of incense, and he takes his fire from the altar. He combines them like sparks to a flame and he throws them to the Earth, and this becomes the initiation of these judgments. And it begins with verse number six now the seven angels who had seven trumpets prepared to blow them, each of the seven angels had trumpets, one of the most important instruments of the Bible. Each time that a new judgment is unleashed, the next angel sounds their trumpet, the first four trumpet judgments are physical calamities that will come upon the Earth. Now, the effects of it will be felt worldwide. But the direct impact will be suffered in thirds. There’s a little bit of disagreement on this, but most commentators think that the whole theme behind Third’s has to do something with God communicating that this is a partial judgment because the end is not here yet. In all of these judgments, God uses the Earth. To judge the Earth. Much of these judgments are similar to the ones that we see in Egypt in the Book of Exodus Exodus Chapter nine verse 23, the Moses stretched out of staff towards heaven and the Lord said Thunder and hell and fire ran down to the earth, and the Lord rained hell upon the land of Egypt. There was hell and fire flashing continually in the midst of the hail, very heavy hail. Such had never been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation the hail, struck down everything that was in the field and all of the land of Egypt. Both man and beast in the hail struck down every plan of the field and broke every tree of the field only in the land of Goshen, where the people of Israel were. Was there no hail? We see similar judgments here, but clearly the ones in Exodus were localized geographically just to one location. These will have massive global ramifications with obviously with a specified focus and direct impact of a third. So let’s look at these judgments. The first one is the first trumpet judgment, this is an attack on the land and it begins in verse number seven. It says the first angel blew his trumpet and there followed hail and fire mixed with blood. And these were thrown upon the Earth, and a third of the Earth was burned up and a third of the trees were burned up. In all, green grass was burned up. To even begin to try to grasp the physical ramifications of what would create this sort of phenomena, it’s very hard to do that. So we’re going to go back to our friend, Dr. Henry Morris, the author of an amazing book called The Revelation Record, as he combines his knowledge of theology as he’s both a theologian and a scientist, and he’s trying to bring both worlds together to sort of maybe try to conceptualize how some of this could happen. And this is what he says. He says the specific cause of the hail and fire thrown to the Earth is not revealed, but from a scientific standpoint, an earthquake of the magnitude and extent of the one in Revelation eight verse five would likely trigger world wide volcanic eruptions. Besides spewing vast quantities of flaming lava, which could be blood red in appearance into the atmosphere, the atmospheric disturbances caused by those eruptions could trigger violent thunderstorms that would produce large hail. Such thunderstorms would be in keeping with the imagery of Chapter eight, verse five after the angel hurled the sensor to the Earth, there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning. He goes on and says the masses of water vapor blown skyward might well condense and the intense updrafts as hailstones and the blood of entrapped men and animals might be mingled with them, or possibly showers of liquid water drops might be so contaminated with dust and gases that they appear blood red. He goes on to say to describe the fiery phenomena that takes place, he says that may be possible, that angelic host will divert the path of one of the many comets with which the Solar System abounds so that the Earth will pass through its tail. The most spectacular comet with which we are familiar, Hayley’s comet will not need to stray too far from its normal orbit to envelop Earth in its fiery train. Whether such an experience would produce the phenomenon described in this passage, we do not know since our scientists have no experimental data to go off of yet. Interesting stuff, right for for you, science people in the room. No doubt this destruction starts massive fire issues, devastating crops and animals and construction, all reminiscent of the prophecy from Joel Joel Chapter two, verse 30, and I will show wonders in the heavens and on Earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. So then he goes on with the second trumpet, which is not an attack on the land, it’s an attack on the sea. Verse eight. The second angel blew his trumpet in something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died and a third of the ships were destroyed. Now, more than likely, this is a giant meteorite or asteroid. So every doomsday scenario that has been hypothesized about an asteroid someday hitting the Earth is since it’s going to happen. Could you imagine this happening? We know it will hit the sea. The devastation will affect a third of the sea, as it will likely become blood either literal or an appearance from. The death of all the sea creatures. Again, this judgment was foreshadowed by another Exodus judgment Exodus Chapter seven, verse 20 Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, he lifted up the staff and struck the water in the Nile, and all the water in the Nile turned into blood, and the fish in the Nile died in the Nile stank so that the Egyptians could not drink water from the Nile. There was blood throughout all the land of Egypt, so this would hint to the possibility that its literal blood it’s not just taking on the appearance of it. Now, a key element in this that gets skipped over sometimes is a third of the ships were destroyed. It may be only recently that some of you, along with myself, have realized the true impact that this would have on the world’s economy. Right now, our world is suffering from what a complete standstill. From all of our seaports being jammed. Shelves at our local stores, sometimes void of the most common household products, something that not many of us has experienced in this generation, unless you lived to the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic and you were looking for toilet paper. Those products on those boats in the middle of the ocean are waiting to be unloaded. But nobody to unload them. Some of them are unloaded onto the land, but there’s nobody to get a truck and drive it in. A third of the ships at sea being destroyed in a single blow and the rest suffering the inconceivable and unpredictable challenges of running ships see vehicles through a body of water. Hang with me, it’s going to be a little gross. Got a weak stomach? Hang with me. Through bodies of water that are covered with floating dead sea creatures. Running blood through their water systems when they were really supposed to have water ran through them. Could you? It’s hard to even conceive the difficulties that that would bring about, how can you even move to the water large sea creatures coming to the surface from the death? The disease? The stank, as Moses put it, in Exodus. The third trumpet, an attack on the rivers and spring. Can get worse than this. Of course it can, and it will. Verse 10, a third angel blew his trumpet and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star’s warm wood, a third of the waters became warm wood, and many people died from the water because it had been made bitter. Now how different is this from the second trumpet judgment? Well, it’s quite a bit different. The space debris from the second trumpet that we just talked about, it referred to it as a large mountain. It’s a singular mass that makes a single impact in the sea. The word star here in the third trumpet is the Greek word Astor. It can refer to any space object outside of the Sun in the Moon. It’s described as a burning torch, which is lampas. Which supports the interpretation that this is likely some sort of comet, because Lampert’s was the word that was used in ancient times to refer to comets. And due to the fact that the comet actually fell on many different rivers and streams, it’s likely that this comet dissipated when it hit the atmosphere and broke into several pieces rather than the second trumpet judgment, which it stayed together. This is scary. But what results from it is even worse. It pollutes the drinking water around the globe. John names this star wormwood. Wormwood, I got a picture of one up here. It’s a shrub like plant that is bitter to the taste. In fact, it’s only in the Old Testament. Outside of this one reference in revelation. Jeremiah, Chapter nine, verse 15 is one of the most famous ones, it says, therefore thus says the Lord of Hosts the God of Israel behold, I will feed them this people with wormwood and give them poison water to drink. When the warm wood shrub was manufactured, it created liquor. That liquor was proved to be lethal. So the production of this plant was banned in many countries. It’s easy to deduce here that the drinking waters were poisoned by the warm wood comet or star, and it was rendered lethal to consume. Think about that for a second. Every. Drop of clean drinking water. Is mercy from God. Sometimes we think we’re owed clean drinking water, but there’s a lot of places around the world that don’t have access to clean drinking water, we’re not owed anything. Every ounce, I don’t know some of you, your parents, maybe you’ve experienced, as I know, I can readily assume you have, because when you have water bottles in your household what do children do. Yeah, they flip them. But they drink, they take two drinks and then they. Leave it somewhere. Makes you want to scream. They take two drinks and leave it somewhere, they don’t finish it, but every drink sip morsel of water, clean drinking water is the mercy of God, but we live in such an entitled culture. That we believe these things are owed to us. There’s some people this is the most precious thing to them. Would you like a morsel of drinking water? It’s fresh, and I promise I didn’t, but there you go. Sometimes things become so. So regular we become so entitled used to having it. That we don’t realize the true blessing and benefit. Of what even clean drinking water brings us, that it is every drink. It’s the mercy of God DJ you like water? You look like a guy. You got to be stronger than the. Like additive in your water. Hmm. Just right. All right. Sometimes pure drinking water isn’t enough. But we even have additives. Drinking water is boring. You can drink it, go ahead. Is it pretty good? It’s pretty good. We don’t just have access to clean drinking water. We have all these extras. There you go, buddy. We have all these extras. We have soda and we have sparkling water and we have diet, sparkling water and caffeine free diet, sparkling water. We can even take water and mix it with a little bit of soap and throw a party. All the water, all the stuff you could ever want to drink. That’s not enough. You can drank the Kool-Aid. We got all these options, all these options. Just take one set the humor us. Delicious. We have all this stuff when you go to the store. What do you expect? For the bottled water always on the shelf. So it’s not, you know, you get annoyed the kids leave it out and they don’t finish it, but you can always go to the store and buy more. And we put Kool-Aid in it, and we can put sweetener in it and we can put lemons in and we can do all these things that we can get soda, we can get tea. And there’s there’s caffeine free diet, Splenda and iced tea from the herbal citrus says. Yeah, there’s all these things you go in. There’s this line of all this product. And listen, that’s fine. But but. That’s fine if you drink that, you take advantage of that, but guys. We’re spoiled. We’re spoiled. When the COVID stuff was happening and there were shortages, I’m afraid to admit that I told my wife, buy up every. Case of Cherry Pepsi, you find, because the Lord is pulling from me, my idol. But every drink of clean drinking water is a mercy from God. Every sip. Do we live our life with that level of thankfulness? There’s going to we don’t really think about things until they’re gone. Do we really want to wait to thank God for all the amazing things that are in our life when they’re gone? Or would we want to give thanks now and then look up from our situation and say, Man, the cost of clean drinking water for for one person is priceless for me. I can take it or give it. I’ll just leave it here, somebody. You’ll throw it away and dump it out in the sink later. Every drink of clean water, every breath of unpolluted air. Every day that I walk through this life without pain. Is a mercy from God. We live in an entitled culture, and I know, ah, we always jump to our kids, right? Our kids are so entitled we’re entitled to. I won’t do that unless it meets these qualifications and standards. Every body operates like they’re owed something, we’re not owed anything. Not a single thing. And we have to approach life through this lens, because when you start approaching life through the lens that every single little good thing is the mercy of God. All of a sudden we stop whining and complaining and walking around like a bunch of entitled people, and we start giving glory to God for every single good thing in our life. And all of a sudden, you got a lot of people that’s not disgruntled and angry at everything. You know, one of the things that we struggled with during 2020 is all of a sudden, all these things. that were freedoms we thought we were entitled to and they started going away and we started losing our minds. Why, because we feel like we’re owed those things. I I it is by the mercy of God that I was born in the United States of America and I wasn’t born in China, where they’re burying people right now because they’re proclaiming the gospel. We’ve got to wake up and realize that we are not owed anything. Not a thing. Not a thing. But what happens when the things that we think we’re owed are taken away? We realize they’re actually the mercy of God. So here we are. The food chain is is terribly disrupted, large whales and fish are floating on top of the ocean floor. We have poisoned drinking water. 33 percent of all international domestic product has been destroyed on ships that were moving them. There is no fishing, there is no shipping. There is no transport. The world is on pause. The world is poisoned. The very thing that brings life to this planet is its contaminated, water. And then we go to the fourth trumpet. It’s an attack on space verse 12, the fourth angel blew his trumpet, a third of the sun was struck and a third of the moon and a third of the star so that a third of their light might be dark into the third of the day might be kept from shining. And likewise, a third of the night. So what happens? What has always happened throughout generations, whenever things happen on the planet that people don’t understand? They look to the. It looked at the stars. Let me use the stars to help describe what’s happening with the help describe the phenomena that’s happening here on the Earth. And so do you see what God is doing? OK, you put faith in the land or attack the land. You put faith in the sea or attack the sea. You put your faith on the springs and living water, I’ll attacked the springs and living water. And then at last, when you turn to look up to the space to allow the Sun and the moon and the astrological systems to give you answers, I’ll take them out too, because you turn to them instead of turning to me. I mean, what happens when you look up to the sky for answers and all of a sudden celestial bodies start hurtling from the sky at you? Humanity will look to the sky for answers, as they always have. There will no doubt be emergency sessions, United Nations conferences, the best scientists left on Earth will be coming together to calculate and look for answers. Now are these objects is the Sun and the Moon, or are they hit with other pieces of sky debris? Not likely. Because if something would run into the sun. The Sun would consume it. The word struck here is ples o. It means to receive a plague. So if you get sick with a bad virus or a plague, you get you get struck by it, you get pless o’d by it. So the sun, moon and stars were hit from a plague from God. God literally makes them sick so they don’t function like they were originally supposed to. Who made them function anyway? Who created them to function that way? Who sustained their function for all time? God, so he can give it a disease and cause it not to function. Now think about how this affects the Earth. It’s not just all of this, but the times of the day are changing. And now no one can keep time in the world. What’s what? It’s dark at two o’clock, and it’s it’s brightest day at 3:00 in the morning, the moon controls the tide and affects the water. The Sun is the thermostat, no doubt, with a third of it not shining it now, the temperatures will plummet. How many of you like cold weather? Unpredictable and violent storms likely will result from these astronomical or astrological changes. Isaiah, Chapter 13, verse nine. Behold, the Day of the Lord comes cruel with wrath and fierce anger to make the land of desolation and to destroy it. Sinners from it for the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light. The sun will be dark at its rising, and the moon will not shed its light. Ezekiel Chapter 32, Verse seven When I blot you out, I will cover the heavens and make their stars dark. I will cover the sun with the cloud, and the moon shall not give its light. All the bright lights of heaven. Will I make dark over you and put darkness on your on your land? Declares The Lord God. Joel Chapter two Verse 10 The Earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble. The Sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining Amos Chapter eight, verse nine. And on that day declares the Lord God, I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight in the Lord. Jesus even confirms the prophets and the gospel of Luke chapter twenty one verse twenty five. And there will be signs in Sun and Moon and stars that on the Earth, disstress of nations and perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves. God dims the light on creation, but he dims it for a huge announcement how many of your theatre people you’ve been in plays or you’ve set up plays, whatever? What do you do to trigger the audience then a big announcement or a change is coming? You change the house lights. It’s subconscious. You come in, the lights are up. What happens when the play starts? Lights go down. What happens when it’s intermission time? Lights go back up? What happens when it’s time for act two lights go down, you get the point. Changes in the house lights indicate a non-verbal signal to the crowd. Something big is getting ready to happen. God is dimming the lights for an announcement. And this is the announcement we see in verse 13. Then I looked on, I heard an eagle crying with a loud voices that flew directly overhead. Woe, Woe, Woe. To those who dwell on the Earth at the blast of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow. The word woe here in the Greek is oviai. Literally means horror like horror film. Some commentators suggested the Bible often uses the same word for Eagle and Vulture, so the correct rendering of this verse may actually be a vulture. As it is hovering over the dying body of mankind, ready to consume its death. God’s judgment always comes with a warning. This entire book is a warning. John, the Baptist’s life was a warning repent now for the Kingdom of Heaven is that hand. The prophets of the Old Testament lived to give warnings they were killed for it. Noah preached righteousness for a hundred years, telling people that you’ve got to get right with God judgments coming and they didn’t listen. Warnings are mercy. We don’t deserve warnings, but God gives them because he doesn’t desire that any would perish. God said what would happen if we turned on him, he already told us what would happen, but he still gives us warnings. It’ll be the wicked that ignore and push aside the warnings of God. Because of that, their curse, then they’ll suffer in their sin. But it’s not because God didn’t try. Now, it’s because they hated God so much that they wouldn’t heed the warnings and they walked right into their own eternal doom. So what do we take out of this this morning? It’s all that’s in this text, the warning well, of course, that’s there, but there’s there’s more to it than that. The first four trumpet judgments just looks, maybe on the surface like God is going off the rails and he’s just destroying things. But that’s not what God does. God doesn’t just go off the rails for the sake of going off the rails. There’s always divine intention and reasoning behind why he chooses to display his wrath in the way that he does, it’s calculated. It’s meaningful, it means something, and it’s a part of his justice system. This is God destroying the Earth. His creation with creation. Why? Because we abandoned the creator to worship the creation. Romans Chapter one, verse 24, therefore, God gave them up in the lust of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies amongst themselves because they exchange the truth about God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the creator who is blessed forever. Amen. Over and over again, man has failed to recognize and worship God as the almighty creator, and instead they chose to make a little g god out of the Earth and out of his creation. God is destroying the idol of creation itself. Now you may say, Well, Josh, this is this message is for all the tree huggers. Not for me. Not so much. I want you to understand why God is doing all of this. And I don’t pretend to know all the intricacies, but I want us to understand because the character of God here is so important for us to understand. He created man in his image, and then he gave all the good things of creation for humanity to tend, he created man and then he created all the good things of the Earth. He created paradise and he says, There I give it to you as a gift. Steward it, it multiply. Make it special. Then we distorted the image. Yes, we’re created in the image of God, but when sin entered into the picture, what happened? We distorted that image and then because they inherit sinful nature, kicked in. We now converted the good things that God gave us, and we started using the good things for evil. It’s kind of like this. Let’s say you walk up to someone and you buy them a car for their birthday, nicest car on the lot. Let’s say you buy them, you buy them a Tesla or something like that, and then they get in that car and they go and they run over someone and kill them. How would you feel? That your gift, your precious gift, that was an amazing that you made a huge sacrifice for that you created that you handed over for free for someone to steward and tend, and they then took that very device and used it for evil. That’s on a small scale of what we did with God’s creation. We rebelled against him and then we took all the good things and we used it to our own benefit. It’s like buying your son. Let me let me dial this back even further, it’s like buying your son a B.B. gun and he goes and shoots the neighbor’s dog. Then we consume all of these guests without any regard for the creator who made them for us and gave them to us, here we are drinking all the water, consuming all the product, consuming that you’re abusing things, not putting our shopping cart back. I don’t know where that came from. That’s where one of you, because it just went right in my mind. Maybe it’s for me. Maybe it was like the Holy Spirit going shopping cart. He doesn’t talk like that, by the way. God gave us all these good things. God gave you an amazing spouse. Are you are you stewarding your marriage? Or abusing the benefits. God gave you a body. Are you stewarding the benefits? Or are you consuming and not in and abusing the privileges? God gave you a job you may not fall in love with that every day, but are you stewarding the benefits or are you just complaining about all the things you don’t like? God has given us so many wonderful, beautiful things down to even the clean drinking water that we enjoy. Are we just consuming, consuming, consuming, consuming and even at times leveraging these things that he’s created to her own selfish gain, turning it into idols and sin, rather than honoring and glorifying the Lord who created them and worshipping him and thanking him that he even gave them to us in the first place. Guys, just going to cut straight to the point. God’s Ticked. He’s coming back to take what is his. He made it. We jacked it up. He’s coming back to get it. And anyone who stands in his way is going to be annihilated. Welcome to Live Church in these judgments, God is making war on his creation with his own creation. And if you think God is overreacting, then you seriously underestimate how serious he takes his own glory and how serious he reveres, the work of it reveres the work of his own hand. God will not be made a fool that humans rebelled and use the good things he created and turned them into evil. He will not be mocked. We can’t sit here and go, Ha ha ha. I’m going to take your good thing and use it for evil. He’s coming with a reckoning, he’s going to take back what is his. If you think God is overreacting, your view of God is too small. The scope and magnitude of the devastation shows how great God is. He’s not going to be made a fool of. Humans took this Earth, what was meant to be a theater for his goodness and his glory on displays and turned it into idolatry and rebellion. We came in, we took over, and now the inmates run the asylum. Now, why did he allow it for so long for the elect? Why did he allowed for so long because he knew there would be those? Who would respond when God loved them first and they would love God back and they would come to faith in Jesus Christ? That’s why he endures his Earth and his creation being subjugated to such disgusting, horrible sin. That’s a travesty to himself because he’s plucking out of this world, his kids. The rebels will die, those found without Jesus will die with the creation when he makes everything new, but he’s plucking his kids out and he’s enduring. Could you imagine just sitting there and having to watch your creation be tainted and distorted and destroyed by all of this sin in this depravity, in this disgusting as you would be ticked to because it’s his creation? He made it. It’s his right, it’s his. He owns it and it’s being disgustingly perverted and he’s sitting there and he’s enduring it so that he can pluck his kids out. Revelation seven And then by. I’ve come in and taken what’s mine, and for us to say, God, doesn’t that that’s that’s not mean God. We way underestimate the glory. Of who God is. We’ve offended God at a deeply personal level. God is justified and is righteous to condemn us. However, the good news is he’s rich in mercy. So he provides a way to escape the wrath, and he did it by the cross. So he’s just not saying doom to you all, are he’s saying, no, I’m going to send my son. And he’s going to put on flesh. He’s going to be tempted in every way he’s going to go to the cross. He’s going to die and not just die a horrible physical death, but absorb the wrath of God for all sin so that anybody who puts their faith in him is as Lord and Savior. They then are credited to him righteousness, and they get to be in the presence of God and they get to go to heaven. They get to be saved for eternity, and they get to escape this wrath. God didn’t have to do that, but he did why? Because it’s his character to be rich and mercy and grace. And so he said, I’ll come in, I’ll I’ll put on skin and save them myself. This is the gospel of Jesus Christ. That all the bad that we’ve talked about the the contaminated water, the the sea guys, we’ve participated in turning the good things of God into evil, all of us have, we’ve all turned the world into idolatry. One of the biggest ways we do this is with each other. We’ve all elevated an idea of idolized man. And idolized people and things and materials and money. We’ve taken God’s good things, made them bad things. We’re all guilty Romans 3:23 for all of sin and fallen short of the glory of God. But due to the grace of the Lord Jesus God, you know the Lord Jesus. You do not have to be subjugated to the wrath that you deserve, but instead you can be let off the hook because Jesus took the wrath for you. And now all you do is put your faith into him and serve him as Lord and savior. And all of a sudden, all these bad things that we’ve talked about today you will not experience. So not oh my gosh, who? Hanky, OK. Listen. Not only do we have the blessings of the mercies of clean drinking water lemons to put in it, not only do we have bubbles to blow out our child’s birthday party, not only do we have unpolluted air, the ability to meet in religious environments for free without being persecuted. Not only do we have Bibles in every print and translation and copies and above buffalo skin smells so good. OK, MacBook Pros and video screens and instruments and clothes that fit and smell good and don’t stink to water in the morning to take a shower and a job that gives me money so I can take care of my family. Not only do we have all these things, but we don’t get the wrath that we deserve because Christ Jesus took it for us. If we complain about a single thing in our lives, we just need to. Because we got it made. Amen. Something you look at me like, oh my gosh. We got it made. Everything. Even the worst of the worst of the struggles that we go through. We got it made. Amen. Amen. I got to get you to say amen to that. Come on. There’s a lot to be joyful over. God is good if you don’t know Jesus. If you don’t know, Jesus, give your life to him today, there’s no formula. I’m not going to make you say a prayer. I’m not going to make you jump through hoops. I’m not going to make you fill out a prayer card and do all these things. Submit your life to Jesus today. Confess him as your lord and savior, and you will be saved. Allow him to change you and transform your heart from the inside out. Best decision you ever made. Best decision you ever.
